| Does anyone have any insight on Loanofficerpro.net? My partner has recommended it to me. We each handle our own book of business, all of which is based on referrals. |

And, it's very reasonable! only $195 for the entire year. Some of these websites charge that by the month.

If you search this site, or the internet, you won't find anything negative about Loan Officer Pro. There's good reason for that.
I know this is coming from the "horse's mouth" (ie. I'm with the company), but it really is great software. Because we offer a 30 day (zero hassles) guarantee, our view is we can't be just interested in making the front end sale. We want extremely satisfied customers who down the line get a lot out of it.
We know that if our software, support or the backing of our guarantee is weak, or if we exaggerate our claims, it'll be all over Broker Outpost, not to mention a lot of other places. Rather than have to deal with a mess like that, we've chosen to focus on making Loan Officer Pro a great product and providing solid support after the sale.
We may not have the biggest name (yet). But we just might have the best program (at any price).

LOP-man and Daniel Cobb, one from Marietta GA, the other from Alpharetta GA.....both with low post counts.........hmmm. Sure sounds like a set-up for a commercial disguised as a post. False statements, set-ups or a wolf in sheep's clothing is the quickest way to lose credibility around here. Quick way for a national turn-off on your product.

Mandyvilla,
Feel free to call me directly if you think I'm not legit. Just because I don't have 1000 posts, doesn't mean I'm not a member with good intentions.

Staged Commercial? I own my own shop in Marietta. I can't control who responds and how people respond to my posts. It was a simple question.
So much for this site being a resource. Ask a question and get accusations in return. Guess I better start posting about political or sports topics to be considered non commercial.

Mandyvilla:
I'm sorry, but you're wrong.
We've been a member of Broker Outpost since about 2/07. If you search my postings (there's about 25 of them) you'll see absolutely no pattern of ever having created bogus messages just to falsely pump our software. If we wanted to be unethical, why wait til now? Also, if BO tracks IPs during signup, doing something like that would lead to a quick ban.
The reason why the other posting is nearby probably has a lot to do with how we first began marketing our software, which was via a regional rollout. We attended Georgia trade shows, met at client's offices, etc. We did that for a variety of good business reasons. |

I understand your concern. I'm sure others may have tried the same sleezy tactic you accuse us of. But that's not what's going on here. At the same time, it isn't a coincidence that I'm showing up on this thread.
We noticed a recent surge in inquiries on our website from visitors indicating they learned about us from BO. I did a search to see what was being said and found this thread. Also, I have no idea who Daniel Cobb is. He's right though. He should be able to ask a question, and at the same time, I should be allowed to reply. Only if it becomes a pattern do you have a case for abuse.

Mandyvilla has a firm grasp in life. Obviously much firmer than some who would post 'nice dog homo'.
And here's where she's right, you have completely turned me off from ever looking at Loanofficepro. And it's not because of anthing Mandyvilla posted.
The overall demeanor of and suspiciously scripted nature of this post has completely turned me off of your product. You would be best served by having the OP click on the red frowney face and have this post deleted. |

If you don't have 1000 posts be prepared to get slammed on every word you say. Every question you post will be stupid and someone will always think your trying to steal their loan. ALMOST everyone in here equates your number of posts to knowledge or length of time in the mortgage industry.

Not true. Doc had tons of psts and we all know where he was coming from. It's long running quality of posts, not quantity, that matters.
We've had plenty of BS artists with high post counts. But if you've been on board long enough you'll know who's opinion to value and the opinions of those you should take with a grain of salt.
Mandyvilla has always been a contributor of value and insight. I will judge you, and others, more fairly once there is a positively developed track record. As for now, I'm not impressed. |

There is some history to the number of posts and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. At least half a dozen banned (or band as we like to spell it) members have risen like a phoenix to come back and stir things up.
You better believe all eyes are on that number, as well as, locale and date joined.
But Todd is correct, you won't be judged for the product, nor even the potential advertisement. It will be your demeanor (also spelled da meener) and actions. A simple call of BS without the attack. Telling me to call you and "get a clue" in the same post sure makes me want to run and grab the phone.
Back to work..........thanks Todd for the kind words. |

I have an idea, how about everyone over react all at once. I mean come on? Mandyvilla stirred the pot. Once a little mud is flung, everything goes to heck.
I don't mean anyone any ill will. I just asked an honest question and was looking for some insight from all those 1000 - 2000 posters. That's far from what I received.
Hope everyone has a pleasant evening.

No kidding. I found the thread through a search and was hoping to find some good feedback, not a bunch of accusations. I have always found BO to be a great resource, but I'm starting to wonder now.
Since I haven't taken the time to make sure I can show 1000 posts, I'm sure you don't care what I have to say.
Loan Officer Pro looks good to me - the only thing I see lacking is web lead integrations, like Cimmaron Mortgage Manager has. |

Spend enough time on the BO and you will see many people setting up shills for their product. It's almost a daily occurence.
The pattern is always the same. Someone with a low post count asks about, or makes a statement about, a service or product. Immediately, someone else with a low post count endorses that service, or product. And lurking in the shadows is the person that represents the service, or product, to answer questions and bask in the glory set up for them.
Call it profiling, but this thread fits the profile. Call me a cynic, but, if it quacks like a duck I'll kill it and eat it.

I see what you're saying Todd - same things happens on activerain.com.
Daniel - I am sure Todd doesn't mind if you use the duck line. You can keep your homo remarks to yourself.
It always amazes me that people can still go to that level - name calling. You are a professional in your industry, aren't you? Do you not think your clients read your posts?
Try googling your name - maybe next time you will think twice about what you post. |

Knelson74,
You are completely correct here. I do apologize for any name calling that I did yesterday. The fact that this is a public forum for industry insight & direction and not a circle of friends sitting around having a conversation did not really cross my mind. Sometimes I'm too casual, and in this case, it was completely inappropriate. Please accept my appologies Mandyvilla.
Have a productive day.
Lock & Load.
