Does anyone know if the Haines criss cross directory is updated regularly? (I'm asking for telemarketing purposes) :) |

It's been a while since I spoke with them, but I think you have options. One option is getting the data on CDs and I'm thinking that data is only updated monthly or quarterly...I'm not sure which. The online option updates as much as weekly.
Again. I'm not 100% positive. But if it's for TM and you are farming a 30-45 mile radius around your office I would say it's a good investment. |

Thanks for the feedback Pat. The thing is; the account that I have access to is only limited to a few states: Missouri, California, Virgina, Illinois, DC and Ohio.
I decided to pull ARM data for Missouri (St. Louis) and began dialing yesterday. (so much for the 30-45 raduis...I live in Cali - won't TM here for anything)
So far I'm getting many "take me off your list", instant hangups, "I don't have a mortgage anymore", "I already refinanced".
So I'm just wondering if I am going to overall spend more time hitting "next call", then I am taking apps! ;)
I was kind of distraught after not getting one app in three hours... I'll see how the rest of the week goes.

Yeah. I would not use it to target beyond homeowner vs. renter. For the purpose it's pretty good. Otherwise, if you are looking for targeted ARM Data get with First American Credco or Experian for the lowest cost records.

Actually I did pull a list for California, to target renters. I noticed that there is a column that specifies "O" or "R". I suppose that's Renter or Owner? I wasn't sure if that info actually indicated that the names listed as R, are renters in the home/address that is listed.
I wasn't sure if the lists are viable sources to find renters. I didn't want to end up calling investors instead of renters. |
