Why in the world are the telemarketing lead guys the top dogs on here? Is a telemarketed lead really that good? After these poor people have been thumped with ungodly amounts of calls from your lead provider (to make them a lead), then you get the privilege to call your lead for the 101st time.
Every member of the BO is web savvy enough, and obviously understands the power of the internet or you wouldnt be members of this site. Yet every internet lead provider is dogged by the telemarketing lead guys and their followers. People believe this crap too because these lead providers and followers have thousands of posts. Sure, some of the internet lead guys do suck, but isnt that true in any business?? The good guys should not be lumped in to that 'sucky' category.
Feel free to check out our website or any past threads of mine. We are one of the 'good guys'.
Somebody out there must need a new lead source?? Step up and start closing some loans for gods sake! We offer 7 different packages and now introducing reverse mortgage leads.

I don't think its the thousands of posts that make us TM guys believable, I think it may be the hundreds of happy customers that have posted their results about working with us over the last 2.5 yrs. Or wait maybe its the fact that some of us have been here for over 2.5 yrs with very little to NO negative feedback. That speaks volumes.....

But seriously if you are an honest Internet lead guy then good for you, you will just have to prove it here as there are a lot of folks making money of the TM stuff right now.
If your honest i wish you luck....Truely!

I definitely feel you on the poor people being pounded with 100 calls before the 101st LO finally calls them. The thing is though; that 101st LO may have a benefit to the prospect that the other 100 couldn't determine! Face it, there are many LOs in the business who never prospected on a phone and who have made nearly all of their income during the booms years..order taking...
BUT.. if you're calling California leads, I can honestly say; AMEN, you are correct! ;) |

Hey Raymond- I have nothing bad to say about you or your company. I talked to you a few months back if you recall. Man, I wonder what you could do if you knew about internet lead gen. Your company would be scary.
It is funny to me that this is an online forum and internet leads get no love. Telemarketing is fine, but c'mon internet lead quality is at least as good as telemarketed, if not better.
There is my 2 cents. LOL |

Internet leads get a bad rep because of people submitting that same info to million's of other sites. Also, not to mention the many shady vendors who resell them hundreds of times over as "exclusive internet leads". |

believe me I know they can work its just that the TM stuff in my mind is much more consistent. BTW thats just my opinion bud. no offense on you!

I don't think it really matters to the members of BO if its a telemarketed lead or an internet lead. If you provide good leads that generates a positive return on investment then your company and your reputation will earn the respect and business of the members here.
The "Crap" your talking about that everyone seems to believe or is buying into is not called "Crap" its know as "testimonials".
Instead of using multiple post to offer your service, do what Raymond and Darkstar do... Create just one post. This will allow members to track your performace and decide if your worth test out.
FYI- try avoid posting messages like this:
"Somebody out there must need a new lead source?? Step up and start closing some loans for gods sake! We offer 7 different packages and now introducing reverse mortgage leads"
In my opinion it makes you sound kind of desperate -- and seems to me no one is ordering or using your services. If your Product is good you should not have to sound like your begging for our business.

Yep. The good thing about this site is, if you stay on long enough and do honest business (with good leads), your reputation on this site will bring in more business than you thought. :) |

As for this comment from Lena.. I am going to take the high road here. But you just proved my point by trash talking me and calling me desperate. I had a big thread going here and I was letting people try my extra leads for free. It had tons of posts and nothing but positive feedback about the leads. I let it die. All of the effort for very little return was a losing proposition. I just thought it would be fun to see why people say what they do about internet leads in general. As for my little pitch about my packages, what do you expect? This is the announcement section after all. LOL |

I don't think I called you desperate... I simply made a comment that your post (marketing Pitch) to me sends a negative message of some who needs or may be begging for business thats all.
This is a perfect example of how different people or members may interpret your marketing messages which maybe for the positive or negative.

Hey Jarvis- I am glad to hear someone back me up about the telemarketed leads (at least in CA). Lena- you are correct there. The written word can be interpreted different ways by different people.
Anyway back to the point. I would be willing to put my internet leads up against telemarketed leads anytime. If I were to lose, I would gladly eat my words. We have a couple of huge nationwide lenders that spend big bucks with our leads. These lenders also buy leads from Lending Tree, Quin Street, LMB and some others. The point is, anyone that runs enough good internet leads that havent been oversold (our company avg sold lead is to 1.7 lenders)will get a positive ROI or they wouldnt continue to spend the money.
Also, lets be clear that I do not vouch for any of those companies I mentioned above (I have heard some serious horror stories). I am just making the point that people are running internet leads with success. Of course we think our leads are the best, and we also handle returns fairly and promptly.
