Hello Sam,
I have a buddie who is interested in getting inquiries removed from his credit report. Is this your speciality and typically, what is your average turnaround time? Lastly, just to confirm, you'd pay $40 for reffering a client?
Please advise and thanks for your time!

Hi Jordan,
Inquiries are pretty easy to take care of, turnaround time for that is 30-45 days. The $40 referrral fee is for our Affiliate Members, basically you sign up your own clients. We still review the file and let you know whether or not we can help and give you an idea of a probable score increase. We then ask that you have your clients sign the customer docs and arrange payment to American Credit Repair. For every file submitted to us we'll issue you $40. |

When you do rapid re scoring, does it work only on the credi co. that you pull, or with all the different credit agencies, for example if i did it with settlement one, will the score improve with network credit etc... Common sense tell me it improve the credit everywhere but i talk to a rep. that told me it may not???????Help! |

| It depends on your CRA's definition of "rapid rescoring" so be sure to ask them. Some do true rapid rescoring which is at the bureau level and will help with all bureaus no matter where you pull next. Some only do it at their level which will only help when they repull credit (through the same company). |

Sam, I need to know if you are experienced in correcting information on a credit report post bankruptcy.
I may have ongoing referrals.
I need to know some basic background as to what can and cannot be corrected.
For example, if someone has surrendered real property in bankruptcy, how is the mortgage supposed to be reported after discharge? Should the account state "included in bankruptcy" with a zero amount since the underlying debt was essentially discharged? Should the account state "included in bankruptcy" and then an amount beside it until the property is sold, or what?
I need a referral partner who is very versed in cleaning up reports after bankruptcy.
Please advise. |

If we had a "specialty" I'd say it is getting credit cleaned up after a BK. That is where we see the most 80-100+ point increases. As for how the mortgage is reporting after the BK it depends on what kind of BK and if they reaffirmed or not. Normally the amount is set aside until the property sells and then the profits from the sale will go to unpaid creditors. After the sale, if there is no profit or if there is a remaining balance owing, it should be discharged in the BK and show as a 0 balance. Although this is how it is supposed to happen, it is often reported incorrectly.
I look forward to doing business with you, please call me with any questions.
Thank you, |

It depends on how the bureaus end up reporting them. Sometimes they'll show as a foreclosure, sometimes as a deed in lieu of foreclosure, of if they got it sold soon enough it may only have late pays showing. I've also seen it report almost like a collection, meaning it will say something like settled for less than full amount, etc.
I'm sorry I cannot give you a cut and dry answer but I've seen it so many different ways that it is hard to say exactly how it will report. HOWEVER, it does hurt the credit in most of these cases. |
