I wasn't making a political statement. I was told he was not the best of people to work with (putting it in PC terms). |

I'm not making one either. They were the first ones that came to mind. Ann Coulter I hear is worse than all three combined. |

He was one of the best sportscasters ever on ESPN. Remember "It's deep, and I don't think it's playable"? |

| I remember him as the local sports geek at CBS in Los Angeles. He actually wore a high school letterman's jacket for his Sunday afternoon sports recap show. The station finally was smart enough to hire Jim Hill back. He was arrogant then and he has just gotten worse since then. Olberman is blow hard gas bag with a highly inflated ego. He is his own "Worst Person Alive!" |

He was great at ESPN but for some reason before and after that he just couldn't quite do it. I too remember that show and man what a huge ego. Can't do politics at all

He wasn't half bad when he had Patrick to play off of. On his own, he is not able to carry the show. |

| He is fine at what he does - he points out political stupidity and since there is not a shortage on the republican side and some on the dem side - you guys are just upset. Don't cry that there is one person with an opposite view - you have Rush, Hannity, Beck, etc...so one person on the other side is what you would call a large left wing conspiracy. |

ONE person????? Are you kidding me. Try the entire line-up at CNN (minus Lou Dobbs), MSNBC (minus Scarborough) and CBS, ABC and NBC. Limbaugh and Beck are radio guys. Hannity is primarily a radio guy. You live in a fantasy world where George Stephanopolis, Tim Russert and Chris Matthews are "journalists" not former Democrat political hacks.
Come on "Fire," you can't really be serious? Olberman is full of fecal matter! |

I love it, anytime someone thinks that someone on the left stinks they are rush loving ideologs who cannot think something for themselves. I can't stand Rush, am pretty conservative on fiscal issues and get most of my "news" from NPR. I used to really enjoy listening to Ed Schultz but could never stand Gralapalo (sp) or Franken. This guy just doesn't have what it takes to be in political talk radio.

Funny how people diss him for telling the truth about the corrupt administration and the spin doctors they employ.
He is fantastic. |

As if there has ever been an administration that wasn't corrupt and full of spin doctors... put the kool-aid down and move slowly away from the table...
Keith Olberman is just another in a long line of political hacks masquerading as journalists. His problem is he doesn't have the political experience most of the others have.

Keith Olbermann is in many respects similar to Chevy Chase. Other than pratfalls, Chase really couldn't carry the ball on his own. He was only at his best when he had someone like Aykroyd or John Candy to play off. As a solo act, he is far overrated. Many other SNL alums were able to show their versatility and did not necessarily 'need' someone to balance them out. Aykroyd as Friday in Dragnet, for example. Candy, as Uncle Buck. Bill Murray in almost any role.
So it is with Olbermann. Without Dan Patrick, he just is not that good. If Dan Patrick had left 'The Big Show', ESPN would have had to scramble. But because it was Olbermann who left, nobody blinked. And I have not even discussed politics. |

I will say this.... I don't have any issues with oposing views of my own.... i like h&c because there is a good banter there....
I thought oberswine was pretty good on espn....
It seems that he is in his bully pulpit now and has been during the eight years of a president that he obviously hates.... so he can just get up and say whatever he wants - it is america after all....
I find it disgusting, disrespectful and borderline traitorous some of the hatred that he spews...
That's why I use my right to choose.... 'click' onto the next channel in line... I'd rather watch HOURS of plastic bimbos and mimbos talking about the weather than to watch 10 minutes of KO....
My choice....
Oh, by the way, I used to listen to rush's show when i had time until the clinton years and he became much the same as oberlick is now.... disgusting towards the president and relishing in his misteps.... NOT entertaining to me....
Back to work.... have a good day everyone.... |

That just further proves my point. Same for Emily Litella. When he left SNL, he was missed only for a very short period of time. |

| I am conservative but enjoy watching , listening to Lou Dobbs more so than any other "tv journalist". I think he has teh least amount of propaganda and double speak going on. He says it like he thinks it is and I agree with him more times than not. Cnn was smart to put him in that position. |

I actually purchase vcr tapes of Mr Bill. Now that I think of it, a former poster sort of thought Steve was Sluggo. |

It can be but the love I have for my fellow Bostonians supercedes the insanity. Also, we have WRKO and Howie Carr which is a place for all us in the minority to vent. Also, it is easy to escpae to the beaches and mountains of NH, lol. |

Bill Murray was her wannabee boyfriend, 'Todd'. I had to endure, 'Oh Todd, your so immature!' in High school.
