I have a couple purchasing a second home in chicago. Excellent credit, own current home free and clear, 40% downpayment and dti under 30. My issue is that these borrower's are not citizens of US, not resident aliens, no green card- nothing. They just want to buy a vacation home in Chicago.
Any suggestions for lenders or programs? Please advise. |

I would hook up with a Harris Bank retail lo, refer the deal to him, and see if you can charge half a point origination that will be on Hud and paid to you.

| If they go thru thier own bank or the royal bank of canada they will get a much better Int rate, unless because of the coversion rates they want to pay in U.S. dollars |

I have had a few inquires from Canadian Citizens on the real estate side. I guess they feel with the conversion rates properties in Laguna Beach or more affordable....LOL.
Wachovia was the first lender that came to mind when they were asking about financing. |
