I have a Borrower in NC who is living free and clear in a home valued at 1.2M. He's also in the process of selling a home he built nearby which he has on the market for $800k but has close to $700k in liens so no help in terms of creating cash. He has about $60k in cash and wants a cash-out re-fi to $650k on his Primary Residence. Because he's a Builder and has a good CPA, he's wanting to go stated income but could certainly verify assets.Does anybody have a "road map" for this individual as far as freeing up cash in his primary residence? If so, I'll make the referral.
