That was funny.

I remember Billy boy being on Inside Edition about twenty years ago.

I remember The Electric Company.

They sent me a postcard once and I sat on my porch for weeks waiting for them to come and visit me.

Mark,

my girls grew up watching PBS and both loved Mr. Rogers.

I am under the impression, he was an ordained Presbyterian minister.

However, the navy seal story,

appears to be suspect.

I pasted a link, below written by some folks, that claimed to have done

some research on the topic "Mr. Rogers".

Fred Rogers real name is Fred McFeeley.
They changed the name, because Mr. Feeley's neighborhood sounded more like a happy hands adult show then a childrens program.

Also the sweaters where made my his mom. And he did not have any tats.

McFeeley is his middle name, not his last. It was never changed.

i was detached to seal team 6 for over a year and a half as their enlisted intelligence specialist..... i never heard that load of crap of a story.... but it does make an interesting line..... it's like how people keep saying that andy kaufman is not dead... or elvis or lincoln....

i say that pete rose used to be a bishop in the catholic church..... now it's true.... good for pete.... he made something of himself....

anyway.... have a great day.... back to the loans....

Picking on Mr. Rogers is like shoplifting at a little kid's lemonade stand.

Talking about Mr Roger's Neighborhood reminded me of Mr Robinson's Neighborhood on SNL.

http://www.livevideo.com/video/embedLink/E5A97E27A53F49AB83B60D8F7450DFA4/111390/mr-robinson-s-neighborhood.aspx

Probably need to cut and paste...
