Welcome to the outpost. Do you have any actual results you can show us? Can you explain what you mean by saying you are "registered with the FTC"

HMP ... I see we "competitors" & that's fine, I appreciate your "challenge" -

By stating we are "registered" with the Federal Trade Commission what I'm saying is that they know who we are, what we do,where we are located etc, and that there is a record of Genesis on file with them.

As "promoted" on your site, there are many "so called" credit repair people out there making wild claims, and flying under the legal radar, Genesis Credit Solutions, Inc. is not one of them. I have, and continue to make myself, and Genesis Credit Solutions, Inc. as visible to any / all State / Federal authorities as possible & also to always be in full compliance with the CROA.

As you and I both know, there are many "gray" areas to travel in this industry....After viewing your website, I believe we both share the same respect for staying in the "light"

As for posting "actual" results / client files on the internet, I have not / will not due to the sensitive nature of those documents, and respect for client privacy. Even blacking out identifying information (as you have in your examples on your website)makes me very uncomfortable.

I've been in this industry for over two decades HMP. I was both a private investigator & criminal, civil investigator for a large, well known Eastern Law firm... I know how easily someone with both the determination, and technical knowledge could secure / "clean up" such files, and potentially steal confidential info..I could be wrong but, either way, I'm not willing to take the risk putting sensitive, confidential client information on the net. Identity theft is America's number one crime...I could not sleep at night thinking I've exposed anyone to this threat simply to promote my business.

I hope I've satisfied your inquiry. I'm more than willing to discuss our industry and /or anyway we can possibly help one another grow, develop, evolve etc however, and with all due respect, I will not discuss confidential information and / or anything considered "proprietary" in open forum. Accordingly, I will not engage in any "we are better than you" type conversations. It's obvious our respective companies share the same respect for, and abide by the laws governing our industry..that should be sufficient.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me personally

Thank you

Since you like to stay "out of the grey zone" please stop making claims that you are registered with the FTC as there is no such registration available. There is no "registration" form and there is not a registered credit repair list.

There is no way someone could figure out who a client is if the report blacks out the name, address, ss number, and account number. Proving results is something that will help back up claims of your "tremendous success ratio I noticed on your other post, you told people that if they work with a "high price" credit repair company they are getting "thrown under the bus" yet you state nothing about results.

If you can not back up the claims you make, then it would be better for the industry if you stop making them.

People like you amaze me... If you contact the FTC, you'll discover we are on recored - Nit picking about semantics is very petty ..

It's fairly clear that all you're wanting to do is attack our credibility / integrity - Why is obvious -

I thank you for your concern however, I do not recognize / nor consider you as an "authority" in our industry & frankly feel no further need to engage in this childish nonsense with you - Nor do I feel obligated to explain / defend either myself or my company to you -

If you feel comfortable posting your clients confidential records on the internet, that's fine. I just hope for your sake, more importantly your clients sake that some hacker doesn't decide to try & take one of those poorly blacked out records, and do something illegal with them -

I assure that we have nothing to hide & that we are completely above board, and impecably legitimate - If all you want to do is pick about the word "registered" and use that as leverage to make your company seem "better" ..So be it

Frankly, I'd rather focus my energies on doing business, snd in a much more positive manner than attacking colleagues with petty remarks, and / or insults.

That all being said, perhaps our industry would be better serves if you followed our example by focusing on business, helping people, and moving forward in a positive, productive manner ...

I will no longer respond to you unless you have something constructive, and positive to contribute ..

Again, I thank you for your interest in Genesis Credit Solutions, and wish you continued success in your future endeavors

As pointed out in other threads by other companies, you make statements without fact. There are many credit repair companies on the outpost and we all get along great, we just don't make up big lies in order to sell our service.

The more claims you make without backing them up, the worse you will look. You are not registered with the FTC as they have no such registry. There is no way someone could do anything with results that have been blacked out. You tell me how you could if your so sure of it.

Oh, Now I'm a "liar?"

Again you're hung up on a single word, taken it way out of context & decided to use it as justification / validation for your harrassment and now slander..

You have absolutely no right or any factual information (other than your personal opinions)to substantiate your slanderous remarks / accusations.

You're about to cross a line here my friend & as a professional courtesy, I'll strongly advise you to cease & desist now before this conversation escalates in to a lawsuit -

Edward, I call it like I see it. There are a bunch of bad people in our industry, when you claim to be registered with the FTC when in fact you are not, this is deceptive. You also come here trying to sell e-books as well, a very bad sign.

Here is something from the CROA

SEC. 404. PROHIBITED PRACTICES.(7)
(a) In General.--No person may--

(3) make or use any untrue or misleading representation of the services of the credit repair organization; or

(4) engage, directly or indirectly, in any act, practice, or course of business that constitutes or results in the commission of, or an attempt to commit, a fraud or deception on any person in connection with the offer or sale of the services of the credit repair organization.
