I have had some success advertising on Craigslist but now they are limiting my amount of posts. Anyone else have that problem? Is there any other free nationwide form of advertising that reaches millions of people like Craigslist does?

Anyone else have any experience and/or solution to this?

I've used it.... sold a few personal items.....

As far as mortgages go.... it's not that effective....

Yes, you are limited in the amount of posts..... it is a flood control feature.....

But you never know.....

Have a nice night....

I got my dog off of craigslist and sold a lot of furniture through craigslist. I just became aware of it this year, and I love it.

I love craigslist. I've sold a lot of personal stuff and got some legal advice from the legal section. I search jobs sometimes, just to see what is out there. I love reading the personals and casual encounters especially. There is a lot of wierdos out there. However, I did have someone try to rip me off on it. Sent me a fake cashier check for my couch I was selling. Sent it to the bank, who called the FBI.

As for doing business on craigslist...beware! First, it's an online garage sale and you will get those types of people. Posting can be tedious and if you get flagged your postings won't show anyway. There are a ton of scam artist out there.

I can show anyone who is interested how to post your referral partners properties on there for FREE. You can also post their listings/properties on several other sites at one time. No multiple uploads, etc. This is a great service to offer Realtors, FSBO's, Investors, etc.

My site is www.Habitatboom.com This service is FREE. Your Realtors will think you're a rock star, you will bolster your web presence, and it will generate loans.

If anyone is interested, email me at: Rob@Habitatboom.com

I'll be happy to help.

All the best,

Rob Lusk

if craigslist is limiting your posts due to being flagged too many times, you need a new email address and an ip masker.

Bought a table and chairs on craigslist for $100. Used it for about 2 years and then resold it a couple months ago for $200. Just like loans, packaging and presentation of your product are key to a sale.

It's hit or miss.

Not real good for developing business IMO. I have tried to develop relationships with other RE professionals that post there and also tried to stimulate some Loan Mod business without much success.

But I did find my current office space there and I sold an old desk I had for more than I bought it for...so I got that going for me.

I closed about 40 in Rev in 07'just from Craigslist but it was a lot of bull**** to weed through.

if you want to post in more than one city creat more email accounts,

when I was posting once a week I had 8 different emails. It would take me 30-45 minutes to post from all 8 accounts in 8 diff cities

I do not use craigslist anymore, i found it more efective to use alternative sources for marketing
