"Loan Officer Training" has become a haven for those hawking their services & products. At first it was subtle, but now it has become the home of blatant ads and 5" signatures, saying "Thank You" on every other post so their Billboards get as much viewing time as possible.

It also seems the "Little Red Button" doesn't work. It's become painful to wade through the BS and find real info.

I used to visit here a few times a day on a break, but now it's just once a day, since it's become Spam Central. This section used to be far more relevant.

I know, it's sad eh? I wish we could get back to normal times so that people would actually ASK training questions or anything regarding mortgages.

I don't suppose the major contraction in mortgage lending we've seen recently has had anything to do with it...

Caveat Emptor always applies. Making sweeping generalizations is seldom useful, IMO. While there are people hawking dubious services here, I think most vendors are honest. YMMV.

Thanks for being honest, I do beleive that all of you guys have good intentions. You all are just pushing them in the wrong section. Let's get back to helping each other out so we can all thrive in these challenging times. All of you service providers need to qiuit being cheap skates and antie-up for some real advertising and quit pandering the boards. It's cool if you guys genuinely want to participate and contribute, just quit pandering your goods, it's kinda like the guys at the end of the freeway offramp looking for a easy hand-out. Some are more honest than others. Kinda Like "Will work for food vs Will work for Beer".

This is true! There are a lot of hours spent providing this information. It's for the readers that want to read it and get something out of it. I know personally i get 10+ "thank you" emails I get per week because of my training thread alone. I love this site and helping others with ideas and concepts is fun....
