MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (AP) - President Bush says the slow growth of the economy is "not good enough for America," but new rebate checks will inject some life and spending soon.
"This economy is going to come on," Bush said Friday. "I'm confident it will."

i like how both clinton and obama are now saying that economic stimulous rebate checks were their ideas and that they will do more of them.... but if the president says anything about them at all.... he gets scoffed.... like i've said before... if something goes wrong... blame president bush for it....
i.e. your daughter didn't make cheerleading squad.... 'don't worry susie.... it's president bush's fault'
or...
a whale beaches itself.... gotta be president bush's fault.....
