Normally I do not do anything for friends/family. But a close family friend is purchasing and literally doesn't trust anybody else wih everything she hears, even if I referred her to somebody lol. So they found a nice REO of which I warned in advance the banks can be a pain in the ass on these properties. Sure enough contract and offer is sent in, 3 weeks go bye, and now they hear back today that the bank wants an extra 30-45 days to make a decision and to assess the property (when it should have already been assesed).
Just thought that was funny, they didn't even make a counter offer, just asked for an extra month lol. |
