I have read on broker outpost about Amerisave -
most of the comments about Amerisave have been negative -
inspite of the negatives, I investigated Amerisave myself.
here was my conclusion -
there are two teams:
outside sales [work from home]
inside sales [work from home]
my first official day was Friday 4-25-2008
I am going through online training until Friday, May 2nd -
I am going to journal the journey -
for anyone that wants to see the journal entries let me know via email:
thebestloanofficer@gmail.com [no offense to you awesome and ethical loan officers like myself - I actually had a borrower with a similar email give me the idea]
I will try to put the entries together on a 4-5 day basis ---
I honestly see Amerisave as "The BEST OPPORTUNITY IN THE MORTGAGE BUSINESS" -
and that is why I joined. A friend of mine says that every company has its "gotchas".
Obviously no company is perfect and I think the key questions are -
can I close their leads within their system and can they close my deals?
oh, and can I close enough with the comp system to get back to making the 6 figures that I made [and all of you too I am sure] back in 2005 and 2006?
I believe that I can - and - this journal will be telling for you and for me -
one of my supervisors was with the same company that I was with headquartered in Colorado and it paid 100% splits --- Amerisave's splits are different [less] but two big things are what I see / leads available and a GREAT name and web presence for closing self-gen business!
Again --- we'll see ---
today is Tuesday / 4-29-08 and I have two days left of training before I can actually originate ---!
