Makes no sense to keep a net open with no loan officers , NJ being bricks and sticks makes it even more difficult , anyone work or have worked for any of the above as a loan officer or production manager ? |

I good friend of mine works for Wells Fargo and loves it.
The employees in the bank don't do mortgages. They refer everything to the mortgage division. So he makes nice nice with several of the bank people and they send the customers directly to him. At least thats the way it works here. |

We are all truly the same, a couple w/ an edge, but not an edge you can depend on (think ACORN or Fast and Easy). All, us included, are scrambling to get DEU's trained fast enough. <oh Lord, I can see the future....soon, everyone will have plenty of DE underwriters in place, ready for quick turn times.......and then Fannie and Freddie will say "wait, we didn't mean to go this far. We take it all back.">
Three of them are pretty close in pay (or were) and some have production minimums.
We can work the bank branches or any builder or realtor. No such thing as protected territory. One common denominator, the doors open quicker w/ a "brand name." If I want to set up a meeting w/ a realtor I want to discuss joint marketing, I am almost never refused a meeting.
I would talk with all that I could get an interview with, within a designated time frame. It's a people match, too. Any reservations you have on the branch manager or any other management type, trust your gut, no matter how much they offer.
