Someone just told me Vertice.

I would rather gouge out my own eyes than use provident.

Strong words, Tracy. But, I'll take that as a hint. Right now, I am mostly using Homecomings but I want to start looking for other lenders.

Everybody will beat homecomings, the fact that they have one of the easiest systems and nice approvals keeps them going though...Use HF as you wont have issues closing.

Thanks for the info William. I feel the same way, but I almost feel like a retail LO because i'm always just giving HFC pricing. Maybe I should go work retail for them.

The funny thing is that I usually start off quoting HF and then I keep looking for better pricing. Everbank is good. Citi is good but SLLLLOOOOOWWWWW.

Get out of the business if you can't process a loan. What the people are inferring that can't deal with Provident is that their loans have something that is not kosher. They are apparently trying to hide something or are unable to understand basic processing.

If you put information on an application,PROVE IT. DUH.

Provident and those brokers that can get loans through their type of processing will be around for years. Those that can't will be joining the other 254 lenders that have fallen by the wayside.

Hey Ben Dover...I think you either responded to the wrong topic on accident or maybe you are a little fired up about provident. Either way...I dont think anyone was inferring that they can't process a loan.

People moan and groan about Providents underwriting, which is basic. They have no idea about the client other than what is on the app. Prove what you submit, turn times and rate (yield) can't be beat. Is that clear enough for you?

Not true.

My loans are very clean andwe have top notch processors.

I have to pay a fee for any loan that does not fund whether it be through their fault or my own so I choose not to bother.

And I have had like 2 locked loans fall out in 4 years.

Looks like Flagstar prices out better than Provident.

Lucky 1 ,

Provident pays very well for properly underwritten and processed files. Period.

They have never met your clients. Mortgage loan 101. Verify what LO puts on app., appraisal supports value, close loan.
