So, I get an email from my brokerage the other day explaining that they have decided to change my pay structure..
Please sign the ammended contract and return... First thought WTF? Second Thought, is this legal? Third thought WTF?
I was lured to this broker under the promise of 100% commissions minus their processing fee. yadayada. I have been hired by a crappy net branch of Tripoint that is useless, greedy , and thinks they are the mafia or something.
I received email today stating the new paystructure was in effect. Here is my response. Please critique, respond, reply, or explain if you can WTF?
*********************************
con·tract (kntrkt) n. 1. a. An agreement between two or more parties, especially one that is written and enforceable by law. See Synonyms at bargain. b. The writing or document containing such an agreement. 2. The branch of law dealing with formal agreements between parties.
You can not arbitrarily change a contract. You have voided your contract by insuniating that I will be billed without agreeing to the changes. You are in violation of the LAW by changing my pay structure on a CONTRACT that I signed, and an ammendment to the contract which I have not.
What legal right do you have to do such a thing?
I am infuriated by the actions taken by this Tripoint division.
I am infuriated by your false advertising of 90% commissions paid to brokers. (and now you change our pay cut).

I would guess their prerogatives are enumerated in the original contract you signed.
Just a guess.

| Read your original contract to see what their rights are. Sometimes people just sign things and read them later (look at all the people who didn't understand option ARMS, it is all in the contract). They can put all types of things you don't understand in them. They are written by attorneys for attorneys so you may want to get one to look at yours and see if they can do this. |
