Hi everyone,
From what I can tell so far there seems to be alot of great people on this site. My question to you is what should I expect to get from the site and what can I do to become a good member here. I am curious to see what you have learned and found most helpful from becoming a member here.

Welcome to the BO.
Best advice is to read threads, especially the ones on FHA right now. That can be your best learning tool.
Also, get to know the posters and get a feel for each of us. We have our own quirks and ideas.
We are a fun loving group, but we get feisty at times. If we get bare knuckle tough, it is because we are probably having fun, or talking about politics.
Oh, if you have any value problems, go ahead and post asking appraisers to help you with a comp check. They will bend over backwards to assist you.

| Learn as much as you can about govt loans. [VA & FHA] Read those threads even if you do not think they apply. Post your experiences that relate to topics that interest you. Be aware that phonies get exposed and tarred & feathered when they appear. And seek out Matt Graham's blog on MBS. [There is a link on my blog to his.] |

| Always use the site search before posting...there are sooo many threads on here about the same topics(best net branch, SISA to 95LTV, FHA with 1099, etc) that could simply be avoided by using the search tool since almost every question has been answered. Good luck and welcome to the outpost. |

I hope I did this right this time.:) Yes I have been very happy with my Alamode site. I am by no means computer savy it is really easy to add and change content. I actuallt got my first real loan application from it this week. I asked why he choose me and his reason was that he liked my website. It probably doesn't hurt that I show up #1 in google when you type in Loan Officer MN. |

I prefer to sit back a lot and just read all the posts...but when I have a question and I post I get good responses. Keep it going! |

I am confused. You said that when you post, you get good responses. But this is your first post. How have you been able to get good responses to other posts?

I can't believe no one has mentioned Linda1085 to you. She was coaching us on maximizing earnings from every loan. Someone (Racer, maybe? ;) insulted her and Linda left. Convince Linda to return (but first you have to find her) and I bet you find a *special place here.

Its like joining a Frat. Sit back, read alot before posting much of anything exept questions and helpfull answers if you can. Dont get caught up in drama early or the 'mob' will get ya.
Once you hit 1000 posts, come out swinging like you just got sent to prison and have to earn respect and make a name for yourself. try to join a gang and stick true to your colors. There are a few gangs on here, read and you will see.
The 'DarkMessiahRacers' are really taking over the lower east side and claiming stake. Look out.

This is a great place to learn and get info about a loan products that are out there. Also watch out for the trolls that pop their ugly heads from time to time. They are lo/mb stating that they have a product that no one is offering just to try to take your deal.

| haha...i just noticed that I am not on my regular name which is bryanharrison. When I first signed up I used this name but had a problem signing in so I created a new account bryanharrison (which i think i may have like 10 posts). you guys are on top of things. |
