"green" everything: specifically energy and technologies to clean up the environment
it'll be a movement similar to the race to the moon of the 1960s

I think since a lot of money will be taken out of stocks and bonds , probably some of it will go to commodities..... no I dont think everyone in america will buy managed futures account, but many might.. specially the ones with money and wants to invest but just not in stocks/bonds...

It's going to be sweet. The consumer is going to love it.

This is pretty much how it will work.

Salesman: "By taking a look at this graph you will see that energy prices on average have increased X% YoY over the last 30 years...and here on this graph you will see that with "peak oil" the % YoY increase has jumped to Y%.

Consumer: "Wow."

Salesman: What's great is that with this new product we can guarantee you a fixed energy cost for the next 30 years because you actually pre-pay for the energy today. Even better we can finance up to 90%...and in some cases even 100% of the energy contract at this low fixed rate....notice that the interest rate in lower than the YoY increase in energy costs...it's like shaking president Bushes hand and him paying you to turn on the lights.

Consumer: "Awesome. Where do I sign."

Wall Street Guys: "Ok. Looks like we've sold enough of these energy contracts...time to unveil the perpetual motion machines and water engines that we've kept secret for the last 100 years."

LOL

Elder care.....our population is getting older and older......notice how the new 30 is now 40? the new 50 is now 60? I was talking to a co-worker today and she was telling me about her 93 year old grandmother. We are going to see more and more of this.

Hedge funds for the masses.

Superfund, founded by community college dropout and former police officer Christian Baha has created a Walmart style Hedge fund by offering accounts to the masses for as low as $5000

Investors here in Florida have been on that kick for the last 10 years. I have 3 stocks in my portfolio just for this and they've been rocking. Not the next wave...sorry.

Funeral homes, and yes, there are international conglomerates are also doing quite well. If I were to invest now in the "boom" i would invest in the funeral services as opposed to care.

I know! I know!

Because it's two parts of the "Food, water, shelter and sex" formula and it's the number one commodity fueling the growth of modern human civilization AND the current means of production and transmission are puke poor.

I'll take my gold star now, thank you.
