I may have someone interested and I do a lot of work in Jalisco State. However I have some questions.
1. Is it 8M USD or MXP?
2. Is it a distributor or a distillery.
3. If it is a distellery where are they located since Tequila is an apellation and is restricted to the City of Tequila, the rest of the stuff is called Mezcal and has a much lower value even though it is the same stuff. I know that some poeple claim that it is all of Jalico State now but I haven't seen the legislation yet, and being Mexico I'd want to see the legislation. I kwno that the City of Tequila is as jealous of its apellation as Bordeaux or Champagne.
4. Is this a fee property or what?
5. Does the property have water rights and does it have its own agave fields or does it just buy in?
6. What is its annual sales in bbls?
7. What is its annual capacity in bbls
8. Does it have bonded storage on site and does it sell aged Tequila (Anejo)
9. Where do I get more information?

Tequila is a region. Guadalajara is within the region.

It is a whole Region where Blue Agave has grown naturally for centuries and now is mass produced obviously. This region is way beyond Tequila Jalisco and covers more than 2 mexican states. Some call it "El Bajio"

sure... that's a funny one....
the ONLY bar fight i was in (if you want to call it that) involved tequilla! i LOST.... but i'm sure the bouncer's hand was sore the next day! |
