I have followed this board for a while, but just registered. I would not use this compnay. Their leads are horrible, and they are a complete scam. The same guys here used to be with Intel Marketing. They closed up that shop and started this one, at least thats what I think happened.....unless it is a different Elite Marketing than I have dealt with, I would stay far far away.

I am using Elite now. The campaign will run until late April. I will hold off on feedback until then. I will give an honest opinion at that time.

I would strongly urge you to stay away. We ordered a small sample size of 30+10 bonus leads and to date have only received 9. Of the nine some were old leads re-processed as admitted to by our sales agent who told us they would replace the lead; to date we have not received a replacement. In fact the leads have stopped all together. We cannot seem to get them to send the contracted amount to us. The sales agent will not return phone calls and mysteriously is always unavailable or out. This is strange because he seemed to call me all the time looking for our check. I am doubtful if we will receive what we were promised.

This forum provides an extremely useful source of information that is invaluable.
Our office and myself of course are eternally grateful to all of you that have contributed to this post. Lets just hope that they get what is coming to them.
But does anyone have a good company for leads that they are happy with...?

I agree in that we should definitely call out the poor lead companies and do what we have to in order to let them know we're not going to take their sad excuse for leads. I think everyone should do their part on letting other brokers and originators know what horrible experiences are out there, and hopefully the lead providers will know that they can't survive by providing less than quality experiences.

As far as good experiences with lead companies...I have only had one good experience. That was with ZipSearch Marketing out of San Diego. The acct rep I had there is still there, her name is Jill, and she was very professional. Our ROI was well over 300%, so we'll probably be going back to them sometime soon...that is AFTER we recoup our funds... :)

And btw...I do not work for any lead companies, I'm an originator.

Banker0679 - I can assure you, I don't work for zipsearch. I'm a broker in St. Louis & Chicago.

My first point to make, not to be rude, is that you "heard" something about them...not actually used them yourself. As a professional, I would think we'd all be respectful enough to comment about the things we know and have experienced, not doubt some company just based on hearsay. I certainly would not make a post if I didn't experience it myself.

And if I may, another contrary point could be made about you...how does anyone know you don't work for a competing lead company, only here to discredit zipsearch?

The fact is, I don't think you do either. But to take time out of your evening to post a message wondering if I work for a lead provider I supported by saying I've used them successfully one time? C'mon...we should all have more important things to do than that. Please try to focus on what this board is supposed to do... further people's business with helpful information. All your post did was help propel unknown gossip. Let's let the people who have actually experienced something do the postings.

I also gave elite marketing a shot, for starters I found it funny that they scheduled fedex to pickup my check to get the campaign started(at their expense). They do not accept credit cards. After the campaign started I received leads maybe 3 days in a row after that nothing. I would try calling 6 or seven times to find out why i was not receiving my leads on a daily basis as promised and they had no answers for me. My sales
rep was Bill White and after my payment was received I have not been able to get him on the phone at all. They claimed that their leads were telemarketing leads that would be sent within 15 minutes of them taking a mini app. To date we have not taken any complete applications from the apps we did receive, as a matter of fact some of the leads were so old that the people had already refinanced. I have asked for a refund and they claim to be processing it, however I think this is more lip service from them just to keep irate customers off their back..

not to mention just do a search in the broker outpost blogs and forums...there are a bunch of unhappy campers there too.

Complaints have been filed with the LAPD and with the CA DCA. What other entities should we be filing complaints with...any ideas?

Will filing a complaint help us to get our money back?

if that is possible count me in....I still contact them from time to time to see how the "processing" of my refund is going, however it has been over a month and they keep giving me another excuse on why it has not been processed yet.

Let me be honest in my thinking...they are not going to "give" any of us our money back. Only a company that is looking to improve their reputation would do that. Since I had my wife pose as a potential customer, they are not expanding their business in the same manner. I believe they are heavily screening anyone that contacts them directly...and focusing more on calling brokers/LO's directly, to catch them off-guard. They are preying on the ill-informed, that's all. There wasn't this much bad press about them when I searched...but now look. We're getting the word out, but it really does need to be on a grander scale. If I have to, I'll spend double what I lost just in order to get the exposure to as many of our industry as possible. We can only hope that people do their research and check before buying.

I can't believe they just called me yesterday to see if I was still interested. When I
told the rep that I had researched them and found out how many complaints had been filed the
guy just told me "not to worry about it" and hung up the phone. Someone here has to know
who to contact and help stop these guys. On the other hand, brokers buying leads should know
they have to do their homework, "buyer beware". I hope somehow you folks get a refund but
it doesn't look too good.

make sure you also file a report against them on ripoffreport.com I also filed a report there and found out about atleast 6 other people who had also ben taken by them. As a matter of fact after I filed my rip off report, they tried to rebutt it however if you have 20 people who are saying the same thing who are going to believe?

I received a telemarketing call from these guys and spoke with Jay. He sent me his contracts and I was considering, however he sounded too good to be true. Doing some due-diligence, I found this post and the rip-off reports. Thanks for saving me the $$$! I don't need anymore headaches.
