I was wondering if anyone has some advice on Marketing to FSBO's. I was told hosting an Open House was a violation of RESPA. I thought I could co-host an Open House. Does the owner need to be present? Just need some clarification before I start searching the RESPA guidelines. Also waht about Call Capture signs? I have signs made saying "YOU CAN OWN THIS PROPERTY PLEASE CALL 555-555-5555"

Thanks

Kelly, I believe that actually hosting an open house is considered "practicing real estate without a license". (unless of course you have dual licenses or have a DRE license in Ca.)

I do know that you can sit in - in an open house and pre-qualify prospects.
