| So far so good. i can't believe you picked Kentucky. They had no business being in anything but the NIT. And Kent/UNLV was a toss up. |

Arizona could win, which would be a mild upset. And with luck GMU over ND, but not too likely.
On average, there should be 3-5 upsets each day in the first round. |

yeah I took a chance on UK too, so far its my only loss. But I actually was dumb enough to put them into the sweet 16
I picked Zona, WKU, Davidson, St Mary's and St Joe as my other upset specials....we'll see how that goes.

WKU could do some damage. ST Mary's, maybe a first round win, but nada from there.
USC is the real wildhorse. The have the potential to go all the way to the Final Four. And Stanford also. |

UCLA and UNC with the Bruins winning everything.
Remember back to 1996? UCLA had the number 1 team in the nation, and the only team that could beat them was the "Bru-Babes", the UCLA freshman team, with Lew Alcindor in his freshman year.
The good old days. |

Not an expert by any stretch but IMO they have the easiest road to get there

| I ended up 12-4 for the day, my losses were Baylor, BYU, Kentucky & USC. USC is the b!tch because I had them going to the final 8. What happened to that team I saw beat UCLA & Stanford ealier this yr??? and what up w Duke???? I have Xavier beating them in the Rd of 16 anyway, but still a 15 seed taking them to the limit |

I picked Kent State as well.....I'm down 1 game.
I have N.C. vs. Texas in the Finals with Texas winning.
N.C., UCLA, Texas, Vandy are my Final 4
Anyone agree?

| dunno if I agree with Vandy but that bracket was wide open IMO so its possible. I have the same other 3 you do...but I'm 12-4 right now :( so I trust your judgement more than mine |

| So my only bad beat was USC, but I'm guessing that most had them winning. On one bracket I have them winning 3 games and on the other only 2. Duke almost ruined everything for me but hopefully that was a wakeup call for them. I am also 13-3 on both brackets with only 1 loss that will get me in future rounds............here comes Friday games! |

14-2 for me. USC was the major surprise that messed me up. A&M was the other mild surprise. That game would have gone either way.
Sat & Sun will start the major surprises apparently.
Duke did show some major weakness. Good thing I have them going down in the Sweet 16. |

today will be feast or famine for me, lotta games I felt could go either way.
OK/StJoe, But/SoBama, Clem/Nova, Zags/Davidson, Miss St/OR, Miami/StMary, WKU/Drake are all gonna be barn burners I think. |

Potential upsets today. Davidson, SMC, WKU, Oregon, Arkansas, and a real wildhorse, Villanova.
What is likely? Oregon. Arkansas. |

oops, I guess I took Butler also.
so far the games I noted are living up to the (my) hype. Surprised at the TN/American tightness though, I figured it would be a blowout. |

I could not agree with you more. Memphis has the athleticism, but if Kansas plays their defense and keeps playing at this level, we're hard to beat. The Jayhawks of course, (althought K-State and Beasley aren't bad either).

How can I read BO with such good games going? Can we see 2-3 upsets this morning?
WKU, American, and SMC?
Talk about busting the brackets........ |

UK went on a nasty streak when Patterson went down and looked REALLY good for a while, in a very tough conference....and Marquette looked like a top 4 seed for half the season, and an NIT hopeful for the other half, so this game was a toss-up, as was seen by how the game played out...it was up for grabs til the last minute and a half.....
I also lost on KY....I've got Kansas, Louisville (upset over UNC here we come), Texas, and UConn (Duke's gonna live and die by the 3, and I'm hoping UCLA is banged up by the time they meet) as the final 4....I think UConn might surprise some people....after UCLA it's all downhill from there. |
