First let me start by saying I do not post messages,, I mainly monitor the blogs to observe the brokers and sentiments.
As the assistant to the general council for Harbour Equity Partners I have seen a lot of bashing of our organization along with many other lenders.
I would like to appeal to the brokers of this blog to try and reach the professional in you. There are very serious issues in the mortgage environment today, and I’m aware of many shops and brokers that are no longer in the business, I know you agree. I would think that with the issues that you, as a broker have in your business today you might stop and understand the factors and issues that are affecting you and your business. Rather what I observe are brokers that gang up and spout off about each other and other lenders.
We have overcome more than a few challenges ourselves in the past year, and I can honestly say that with the programs that are offered we have over come and beat the mortgage mess. In fact it feels like a new business, and as of today we have LO’s with our group that are earning a seven figure income, this is today, in the worst market we can remember. How, how is that possible, there are individuals that don’t spend their time bashing, but strategizing instead. The broker babble as it is known in our office is a combination of frustration and a lack of understanding by brokers. I would like to draw attention to this level of communication and offer clarity to the blog.
We are dedicated to making our business very successful with or with out you as a broker and in regards to negative postings such as the post below us, we can deduct that this individual in observing his profile makes a hobby in his spar time bashing lenders. This is just not productive, and with out bashing that individual, I would like to say to all that post bad information, and all of you that listen to it, let’s spend our time sharing good information. Information on lenders that we know is true and will help brokers to get deals done. Telling every one that Indy Mac *****, is not true and is not productive. There are indivuals there that make a very large living because they understand the process, the programs and the environment and how it all comes together and how it has changed. I would like to see you all take the time to understand what is happening in the business, and I say this because the responses and comments on this blog tell me there is little understand and knowledge past the application process.
In regards to any situation, event or misunderstanding, that has our company attached, I am opening up my contact information to allow clarification of any topic that is true or untrue. My goal in this is not to publicize our organization but to educate brokers on the issues of the business and help them make clearer decision and comments when dealing with our firm or any other lender. so when your turned down at countrywide you can understand why the deal should have never gone to them in the first place etc. And again bringing out the professional in you as a broker and raising the standard by which you hold yourself in this business.
Sure there are certain legalities to publicly trashing a reputable group, but I’m hoping to direct better information to the blog that can be shared and benefit everyone. Again bashing doesn’t benefit.

I will be happy to share what I know to make you a better LO and prevent the spread of misleading information

| Great post. I would love to see any good responses or reviews from lenders. I am starting to get the feeling there is not one actual reputable lender in this entire nation. Please someone give some good feedback about a lender, I want to hear a broker report they made tons of $$$ for once. |
