Hey all,
Many of you have seen me on here for a while; starting out with a company dropped in my lap smack dab in the middle of the "mortgage fall out". I have recieved so much help from this forum; from wonderful LO's, trainers, processors and others. Throughout it all, one person has helped me over and over with advice, conversations, etc. to get me through the rough start. That was Raymond Bartreau of Best Rate Referrals. Words cannot my gratitude for his patience and the education that he has provided to me and my company in the last few months. Do not waste your time or money on crappy leads anymore; Call Raymond!
My partner Shari was able to go and see Raymond in Las Vegas last week. ( Sadly, I was unable to go). She wrote the following about Raymond that I thought should be shared on this Forum.
Over the course of the last few months, we’ve bought leads from several different companies. To be honest, we haven’t had much success with any of them. Raymond from Best Rate Referrals convinced us that it was all in the delivery, not in the leads. We had several conversations over the phone in regards to changing our delivery and last Thursday, I flew to Las Vegas to get a first hand taste of how the pros cold-call.
Raymond was terrific! We spent a couple of hours going over the basics; the available call center set-ups. He gave me several different scenarios that will increase our profits, things that hadn’t even occurred to me. But it didn’t stop there. After he was fairly sure I understood the concepts he proposed, he took me into his call center and proved that they work! His entire crew was great, they let me listen in on their calls, answered every question I asked and were super supportive of my “learning curve”. Based on what I witnessed, we have ordered an autodialer and my expectations are huge!
Thank you Raymond for everything, you have been so supportive of us and it’s so nice to see that not everyone in this industry is all about me, me, me. I would recommend to anyone and everyone who needs to fill their pipeline, and has an open mind to learn a “new” approach, to go train with Raymond. It is worth every penny, because since I left Vegas, I have 7 brand new loans, all closing this month. Shari Linsley |

Unbelievable, really unfreakin believable..... I get the pleasure of doing what i love, helping other learn marketing. For payback i get a good post (which i love) and a gift basket with 2 bottles of wine (which i love even more)

Yeah... okay... I would think it is the other way around... We are thanking you over and over again. A couple of bottles of wine can't even come close to what we have gotten from you! SO THERE! We are having an all-staff meeting tonight regarding your company and methods. We are very excited about working with Best Rate Referrals!

What type of leads did you purchase from Raymond? I've tried lead companies numerous times and have had 0% success. |

Yes exactly. We did not purchase his leads in this case. We went and trained with him to learn what it was we were doing wrong. Now we have purchased his Auto-Dialer and will be purchasing Consumer lists from Raymond each month. Based on our fabulous training with him, and his quality date, we should be closing many loans each month. I will keep everyone posted on our success with Raymond's company.quote:

Basically what Kelly and Shari did was pay me for a day of consulting. Then Shari came out here and got some great advanced one on one training with me and my Telemarketers. She actually heard all of my reps pitch as wee as we ran her state of NM and she left with about 8 leads or so that were generated in front of her eyes...
I hope that helps clarify this training they got. I have gotten a few emails and i figure a post would help explain it more in depth.
Also if anyone is ever interested in the saem thing it only cost you $1500 per day and of course we will run your cmapaign for you as well as sho you all there is to know about lead generation.
Kelly we got your dialer all squared away. Let me know if yoiu need any help at all. Thanks. |

And believe me.. worth every penny... I have spent thousands on leads, most sucked but now after learning more, I have a better concept of delivering the leads. Also, we can now generate our own leads rather than pay for leads that are sold several times over. Now Shari, Jeff and I will use the dialer, and just keep handing them out to our LO's to flood their pipelines. It will also get our new LO's going. After we get that part done, we will start hiring TM's to call, and hopefully expand our Auto Dialer system. Spend the $1500.00! Plane Tix are 69.00/99.99 to Vegas on SW! You will pay for the trip with the leads you get while you are there! Please feel free to email me or call me with any questions about Raymond's training or our overall experience with Best Rate Referrals. My only regret was not using them sooner. quote:

How is that dialer going for Shari? I was on there watching her dial the other day. her average pitch time is longer than my average client so that usually means she has a good pitch and is keeping them in the call longer. If we can do anything on our end to improve her ratios even more let me know.

Hey Kelly, Any more luck getting those guys on that dialer? let me know if they want to get some leads. i know last week I wasnt able to get you in but i did hire a couple more reps and a couple clietns also put their campaign on hold to catch up. Let me know! i would love to help you and Shari out.

Still going... some of my LO's are afraid of the dialer... and others and I love it. Shari loves it. I am thinking we need to filter it for ARMS right now. I am going to get a TM to start using it this week. I still think it's great data.quote:

oh yeah it does work if people get on it. Also if you guys guys ever expand into other states the data volume on the more targeted stuff wont be an issue. I just need as much area as i can get when we go after the ARMs and other target niches. Glad to hear some of the Los are liking it though. Thanks for the feedback.

I purchased leads from Raymond too in the Chicago area. To be more specific, ARM leads. The first time I got the list it was a bit jumbled up with some data not even disclosing their rates, but I called in and they fixed it in 10 mins.
I'd have to say that these leads are literally the best I purchased. They are right on the money. I purchased 300 1.5 months ago and decided to go through them myself instead of giving it to other LO's and have 4 appointments in this week alone. I am more than likely going to purchase a bunch more. Good job Raymond |

| yep, i still have a bunch to call. i gave the list to some of the LO's, they couldn't get anything because they all blow. im calling all of these personally myself to show them that business is out there. once im done with these, im buying all of chicago's leads like i said over the phone. |

yeah I have found that in some of the shops that have some of the 2003 style LOs will have to lead by example by showing them it works. I have a few clients on the dialer that only the broker manager gets on it but they are writing deals and the LO are following suit. Just keep on dialing bud they will see your results...

Raymond has all kinds of leads. They are all great leads. I am calling on his ARM leads as we speak (type). He has live transfers as well. Call him. He always answers his phone!quote:

I really can't compare them. All I can tell you is the data from Raymond is accurate. Reasonably priced, and the customer service is impecable. He has helped me so much. I just got off a conference call with him where he did a mini-cold-calling training with all of my Loan Officers because we started a new campaign off of his ARM list this evening. I do not know of any lead company that will do that. If you have read this whole thread than you will know what experience I have had with him. I have only ordered once from Darkstar, last year. He was very nice as well. I did generate one loan from his list that I bought. Raymond just backs his stuff up with a personal touch on it. That is the best way to describe it for me.quote:

Well I would suggest you call Raymond yourself. Let him explain why and how is data is priced. I am sure he will be very helpful to you. FYI... my brand spanking new LO called off the list tonight for 1 hour exactly. Generated 2 GOOD leads for us to follow up tomorrow. That's a pretty good ratio to me. Anyway, that's about all I can tell you. Talk to other members and see who they like to use. quote:
