Are mortgage brokers outsourcing their loan processing, if so why??

We have a contract processing division. There are many reasons to use contract processors. The main reason to hire a contract processor is that there is just flat fee per file vs. hiring a processor who is either hourly or salary plus any benefits. It works out pretty well and keeps the loan officer out in the field getting new business as opposed to tracking down conditions.

i do it myself. i like the control. i don't rely on anyone else because no one can do it as well as me. i don't say that to be cocky, but if you do it yourself, you will know what to expect. soon you'll be submitting loans and getting the cleanest stip lists in the world. you'll spend less time getting stuff and things just operate more smoothly. let's face it, no one knows the file like you
