I'm getting close to 10 emails a day from commercial lenders and net branches. In addition I'm getting at least 2 cold calls a day from former lo's pitching mlm "opportunities."
Just curious as to how many people on the BO are getting spammed to death? |

| Yeah, I get mortgage spam all day long. And I don't know how many times I've told Interbay on the phone that I don't get commercial business, they still call once a month anyway. |

Hello!
I'd like to introduce you to brokerlenderlink.com, the internet's only subprime and hardmoney rate and guideline PreQual engine.
price and qualify using an extensive, continuously updated database of subprime and hardmoney investors.
There are other scraper sites out there that pull data from lenders, but none of them have a rules engine pricing and qualification database like brokerlenderlink.com. Therefore:
Our rates and PreQualification is more accurate, because we can ask more detailed questions like "No Interior Photos Required" for the appraisal. We have lenders they don't have, because we're not pulling data from lender engines (small regional lenders often don't have engines, which is why we have hard money lenders) We can add ANY subprime or hardmoney lender to our database -all we need is a rate sheet and matrix (guidelines preferred). Soon, you'll be able to use our rules engine to see if your borrower can go FHA!
To find out more, just reply back to me, or give me a call if you want. For a limited time, I can even give you a free subscription <kryanhasse@brokerlenderlink.com> !

| Just an FYI, both emails I received had a list of nested email addresses that comprised hundreds of BO folks. Funny thing was, my registered email wasn't the one it was sent to. I'm sure Darin's looking into this. Who is "Jon Murray"? |

I was getting spammed via my cell phone for a while until I stopped answering my phone because they would block their number. I placed a message on my cell stating that block numbers will go directly to my voice mail. Also placed my cell on the DNC list.
Some even stopped calling after I informing them that I don't do any business that blocks their number. |

I'm getting phone calls from ppl that leave messages like
Hi...this is John Smith please call me back at 777-123-0000.
I'm thinking....is this a borrower or telemarketer? Then I call..and the guy starts asking me about my products...like he's interested in refinancing or purchase. Then 5-10minutes into the conversation he tells me about some MultiLevel Marketing that he's been doing and how it's been working.
MOST OF THE PHONE CALLS I GET ARE LIKE THAT!
EMAILS are like this ********************************************************************** ----- Original Message ----- From: Guitar Man Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2008 7:04 PM Subject: Saw your site. Please call me.

That's almost identical to the email exchange I had with Guitarman; in fact the two emails from him are the same word for word. Glad I decided not to call him back. Dork. |

I had another guy call me...and left the same message...
This is James Doe...please call me back at xxx-xxx-xxxx.
So I call back...and I say Hey You just called xxx-xxx-xxxx....how can I help you? James: Who are you? Me: You just called me! Literally 2seconds ago....you left a message to call you....WHO ARE YOU??? James: Why do you have an attitude? Me: I receive 4-6 phone calls per day from telemarketers...and they leave the same type of voicemail you do. James: Well....I'm looking to do a mortgage but you still shouldnt have given me an attitude. Me: I'm sorry but I'm aggravated because I received 2-3 calls already. Me: How can I help you. James: Well I'm not sure I want to do business with you since you have an attitude problem. Me: That's fine....I completely understand. James: You shouldn't yell at anyone on the phone regardless of who's calling. Me: Sorry, I apologize. James: Next time if you call or pickup the phone you should just ask the person where they're calling from and why. Me: Okay. James: I was looking to see if you offer 'investor products' such as stated, no doc, etc. Me: We offer a variety of programs. James: Do you offer FHA? Me: Yes we do. James: Well Robert it seems I have to go, but we could've spent more time talking about my needs and not about your issues. Me: Okay. James: I'll call you later. Bye.
....
I go on google...put his number there...and lo & behold he works for some ML marketing company for mortgages. I started receiving emails from this guy of how he wanted to work with me.......

I have not had these problems, I have had a few brokers call me to ask about my programs, When I explain I am just another LO we end up laughing about it. Sometimes people don't read posts carefully. I have had some lead companies call me and that's OK , you never know who might help you in the future. Over all the small amount of spam and calls have not been an issue for me. |
