Wow, this is bad. It's already passed the house and is on it's way to the senate. If passed, the Department of Homeland Security could "interpret" anything it wants as a THOUGHT of terrorism. Including internet propaganda sites. If interpreted as a terrorist THOUGHT (not action) it gives the rights to the government to strip that individual of civil liberties and be treated as a terrorist. Imprisoned, tortured, the whole 9!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this go completely against Freedom of Speech?
Does anyone have any more knowlege on this bill? Am I missing something entirely? |
