Here is the email address for the US Senate Banking Committee. The Senate version of HR3915 has not been written yet. This is will be the first place it will go when it is written by Senator Dodd. Senator Dodd has indicated it will model HR3915.
Give them your thoughts about it NOW. Start educating them. If all of you can clog Barney Frank's email. You can have an impact on the Senate. Keep it professional and respectful. Bills are handled differently in the Senate in the sense that they are logically argued and debated. They expect letter writers and people giving testimony to do the same. In other words, no "Chris Dodd you're a pinko and burn in hell!" or "You're a communist!" letters. If you are represented by one of these Senators write them individually and get other brokers and LOs to write them. You can get their attention if they get flooded with email. Remember be logical, professional and educational. We want these people on our side. We don't want to alienate them. Think of them as difficult clients.
