LOL, there are plenty chicken littles in the world. The guy on Nightline last night has the most popular blog on the housing crisis, http://www.housingbubblebust.com/ He was definitely "out there" and was predicting another 50% drop in values. (I bet he thought the end of the world was coming w/ Y2K, too).
(I checked out his site, he has some pretty interesting stats I would like to look at in greater detail, but not to wring my hands. Forewarned is forearmed, and heaven forbid I be accused of having my head in the sand).
I am glad I can't remember his name - mentally, I have dismissed his doom and gloom....2007 could actually be better for me than '05 and '06 - there is money to be made, you just have to be tenacious and disciplined. |
