Nice revision Mr Mtgman, you'll now be known as the "opposite of ml-implode.com" -- advising us all who is still in business vs who's kaput - how depressing

negative aspects.

I suggest you re-do your format then. It's too hard to read the way it is now.

Example:

1. Liberty American www.libam.com

2. First Franklin www.ff.com

Thank you for the list. This subprime industry is a complete mess. However, I believe that it will come back around if you can survive.

Thanks... got that one. It's posted on the BO like 4 or 5 times today. I think I might call this the "James unimplodeometer" or the "livingtilltheirdeadometer" or maybe the "stillyettoseeitcomingometer". Can't beat the itsallthepayoptionarmsfaultometer"

What do you guys think we should call this?

I thought Resmae was gone, although I really don't know anything about them. Just what I've read on here.

Also, Lime just merged with Credit Suisse.

Update, March 5th, 2007: In a surprise, ResMAE was bought out by hedge fund Citadel, not Credit Suisse as expected. I have still seen AE's posting on the BO very recently, I have no knowledge they have shut down yet. Any proof out there???

Also, Lime is still Lime until renamed or shut down.

Thanks

Any idea how to contact former employees of these companies to provide them with job opportunities? We're expanding with a new office in Minneapolis, MN and we're looking to fill 15-20 Processing spots. I'd like to extend the opportunity to those who have been laid-off prior to actively persuing processors already employed.

Please reply to mortgagesupport (at) gmail.com if you know of processors in the area.

Maxar is just like traditional sub prime. Unlimited mortgage lates, NOD, BK all ok. We use our own cash to close deals.

I have review Maxar's website. It meets the parameters of a subprime company and has some unique programs for NOD's. Although it touts itself for being the middleman between subprime and hard money- I think it's okay to add. Since you allow brokers, have rate sheets, and most of your products are subprime like... You have been added.

Thanks

American Guardian and Eastern Savings Bank are two I didn't see on your list. American Guardian is great; call Karen Clark the Sales Manager, and as far as ESB, I'm not sure what their status is, but I'm sure they're still doing nonprime... First Horizon Home Loans' First Connect nonprime wholesale division is operating as a conduit direct to Wall Street... several of your lenders are conduits or correspondents, so if you need a top level connection to confirm the First Connect comment, email me directly ;)!
