captivereef, The broker you work for has to be licensed in that state. Otherwise, I'm not sure of GA rules precisely, but it's like most others, you'd have to get your own brokers license in WI, therefore becoming self-employed and then go to GA to get their license. Check out www.wdfi.org for directions to becoming a broker in WI.
Or else, much easier, you can find a different employer that is willing to 1099 you under their license and then you can write in a bunch of states. Talk to Midas, he seems to be looking for new LOs and will steer you in the right direction with that.
